Naming the release pages

While some of the pages need to refer to a specific release (e.g., 5.3-Nano), many are NOT bound by this. Additionally, when talking about the whole family (even before conception), there is more confusion. Does 5.0-Nano refer only to version 5.0, or to the whole future group?

I propose the following:

  1. For the general level, no sub-number. Example:
  • 4-Mona
  • 5-Nano
  1. OR
  • 4.*-Mona
  • 5.*-Nano

The idea is to NOT refer to the family group as 5.0, where the subnumber might imply that the page only applies to that specific release.

Secondly, when creating a page such as this one detailing the latest release, should there be a copy-and-update to the next number? This would create a 5.4-Nano page, but all the links to 5.3-Nano would need to be duplicated and updated as well. Is this necessary? Perhaps.

I welcome comments.
