The Uniform Server 4-Mona |
UniTray Uniform Server 4.0-Mona
UniTray has been upgraded to match Uniform Server 4.0-Mona’s installation options Basic, Disk-root or run as a service. This is achieved through the use of three separate UniTray initialisation files, appropriate one being selected when UniTray is run via its batch file.
Advantage of this, tray menu options match Uniform Server’s mode of operation, either as a standard program or run as a service.
Download and Install
Installing UniTray is straight forward, depending how you run Uniform Server see 4.0 Mona Install installation differs slightly.
Options 1:
- Unpack a new copy of Uniform Server 4.1-Mona.
- Download file UniTray_2.0.exe from Sourceforge
- Save it to folder UniServer\udrive\plugins (A).
- To extract files, double click on file UniTray_2.0.exe, no need to change the path.
- If you wish to save space delete UniTray_2.0.exe
Options 2:
- Unpack a new copy of Uniform Server 4.1-Mona.
- Download file UniTray_2.0.zip from Sourceforge
- Save to any folder (e.g. temp1)
- Extract files, navigate to folder UniTray2
- Copy UniTray2 to the installed Uniform Server folder UniServer\udrive\plugins (A).
- If you wish to save space delete temp1
Copy Files
After installing you need to copy three files to their correct location.
Basic: This assume you have unpacked UniServer to any folder (portable mode).
Note: If you wish to run multi-server

Disk-Root: This assumes you have already copied UniServer to a disk's root (hard drive or USB memory stick.) and have just installed the UniTray plugin.

Run as Service: This assumes you have already installed UniServer as a service (on C drive) and have just installed the UniTray plugin.
Note: If you wish to run multi-server

Files
If you wish to tailor UniTray2 edit one or all of the .ini files.

Menu Additions
Support for SSL included in the menu options as follows:
- Explore > SSL Root - Displays folder
- Explore > SSL Path - Displays Web page
- Advance > Generate NEW key and Cert (runs server key and certificate generation script)

- Advance > Restore MySQL password
