Register First

Due to many scummy spammers, we have been required to implement a registration requirement before you are allowed to edit or add articles. The registration requires a valid e-mail address, so you can confirm your legitimacy. That may imply that spammers are illegitimate. However, by first registering in the Community Forum you can establish your bona-fides and then request edit access to the Wiki.

What to add

When adding articles, you have to consider who the article is for and if it relates to The Uniform Server. All articles we feel do not relate to the server will be put under removal voting.

What not to add

  1. Do not add anything you feel is not appropriate for this wiki.
  2. This wiki is not a place for you to post links to your site.
  3. No sex related content unless it relates to the server, and I do not see how that does.
  4. No content that may be inappropriate for children of all ages.

How to name articles

Naming articles on this wiki is something we take seriously. If you are writing an article on how to install something, you have to name the article something like

Installing <product-name>

Note: replace the <product-name> with the name of the software.

If you are writing an article on something else, you can send an email to wiki@uniformserver.com with a brief description on the contents of the article and we will tell you the appropriate name.

Categories

Every page must be categorized! For a list of already made categories, please click here.

Why the fuss?

Because we want everything clean and in order. From our coding to our website. :)

Moderation

All articles will be reviewed, and changes may be made to the article if we feel it is needed.

Bots & Spammers

To all bots and spammers, your IP will be blocked if you add your links or unrelated content. We're really tired of you bottom-feeders sucking up our bandwidth, screwing with our system, and wasting our time. May you all have terminal disk crashes.
